Beginners Tai Chi

Weekly classes

As soon as you walk through the door you will feel welcome.  Hine Tai Chi prides itself on having friendly and open class to all beginners.  Many of our students have made friends at the classes that will last a lifetime.

All of our instructors teach to a standard syllabus in order to get the best results for you.  Each class is broken down into manageable steps that make Tai Chi easier to learn.  You will be taught from the very beginning of the Form, not expected to just join in with everyone else.

Our instructors undergo rigorous teacher training prior to starting a class and are required to be assessed regularly.

DVD’s

If you are new to Tai Chi and cannot get along to one of our classes or workshops I would recommend one of our DVD’s as a good starting point.  DVD1 Core Energy, either standing or seated, or DVD2 Pain Relief & Recovery, again standing or seated, are simple and straight forward to learn Tai Chi
